This has to be the best chocolate cake I believe I have ever eaten. I know that sounds funny considering I made it but when my husband, the non-sweet eater, asked for a second piece I knew I had come across magic!! I choose to ice mine with cream cheese icing but to be honest I am sure it would be great just dusted with a little powdered sugar. I have a huge weakness for cream cheese icing and the delight that follows with the licking of the beaters and the bowl!!!
Chocolate Lover's Bundt Cake
1 pkg devil's food
cake mix
1 small pkg instant
chocolate pudding
4 eggs
1 c oil
1/2 c water
1 c sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 c chocolate chips
(milk or semi sweet)
Cream Cheese Icing
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 stick butter, softened1 tsp vanilla flavoring
2-3 T milk
1 box of powdered sugar
Cream the butter and cream cheese together until well blended. Add vanilla flavoring and milk, blend. Add powdered sugar a little at a time being sure to blend together well after each addition. Add more milk as needed for consistency.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds Delicious. I am such a Chocoholic. And I don't like standard icing. The cream cheese icing would be just up my alley.
