Easy "Pleasy" Chicken Pot Pie

I have to admit..as I giggle...that picture is not appetizing at all but let me just tell you...Shut the front door and Smack your granny...this stuff is seriously delicious!!  When I said we were having chicken pot pie for supper I could tell by the look on the hubby's face that he wasn't at all excited.  I laughed and said trust me, there are no veggies and it has cheese...lol.  He has never been a fan of anything called chicken pot pie.

Speaking of chicken pot pie....My sister and I use to live off of those frozen pies that you cooked in the oven during the summer.  I am certain the filling in those things are 1000 degrees hotter than molten lava and will melt every last taste bud off of your tongue in under 30 seconds!!  I think my tongue starts to cry a little every time it hears chicken pot pie. Moving on...

You must give this a try and just to tell you how much of a success it was at my house, my kids ate seconds and my hubby ate thirds.

Easy "Pleasy" Chicken Pot Pie

2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 cup shredded sharp cheese
1/2 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 and lightly grease a 9X13 baking dish.  In a large bowl, combine soup, sour cream, milk, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper.  Stir in chicken.  Spread in baking dish.  In a small bowl, combine Bisquick and cheese.  Add milk, stirring just until combined.  Drop biscuit mix by heaping spoonfuls evenly over mixture.  Bake 35-40 min or until browned and bubbly.
